#10 HEATHCLIFF is a well bred son of Canford Cliffs who should relish this step up in trip. He is a 2yr old taking on older company, but there were two races at Kenilworth this week where the 2yr olds beat the older horses over 1400m, so we’ve reached the time of year where they are getting it right. In fact his stable companion Kapuziner who finished 2 lengths in front of him last time was one of those horses who won at Kenilworth, so the formline of his debut run looks to be holding up. I can’t make him a strong bet as he tries the turn for the first time and there are many examples of Cape raiders who get caught out trying the Fairview turn for the first time, but he should be too good for this weak field.
