#2 SILVER SALMON looked a very good sprinter at the start of his career, but things went wrong and he completely lost his way. He was subsequently gelded, but even that did not make a difference initially. Last time he found some form though, in a race where he jumped from a terrible draw around the bend at Durbanville. He got caught wide there, but still finished his race off well. He showed genuine ability against very good horses early on, so if he maintains his form from his last run he could easily be far too good for this D Division field off his current mark of 81. At 12-1 now I simply can’t let him run loose, so I’m having a bet.
