#8 BONETE (8-10) has found all the early market support. Out of a dam with decent ability who’s produced progeny with decent ability, she could very well be far too good for a field like this. She obviously has to be included in all bets, but I certainly won’t be backing her despite all the positive rumours.
#11 SPLENDID SEASON (8-1) improved with the tongue tie fitted in her 2nd start after reportedly making breathing noises on debut. She had the same issue again last time, so the step up in trip is a concern, but it was a competitive race she ran well in last time and she’s bigger in the market than I expected her to be.
#12 VIVIR MI VIDA (14-1) returns after a rest. It was a competitive winners race she competed in last time and from a good draw and with the step up in trip I wouldn’t be surprised to see her upset here.
#4 MEMORIAL DAY (7-2) has improved recently since the cornel collar was fitted to help her breathing issues. I expected her to win in a weak race last time, so from the difficult 11 draw today and with potential improvers in the lineup I’M AGAINST HER.
