With a spur of 2m, there is a very strong bias towards low draws over this CD.
#2 CHYAVANA (3-1) has his 3rd run after a rest today and the drop back in class as well as the step up in trip should bring out the best in him. He’s likely to be a few lengths closer to the pace than usual from his 2 draw and that should allow him to have the measure of this field, so he’s first choice.
#7 BONNAROO (5-2) has finished close to the selection previously and is 2kgs better off. She’s run well after a rest previously and with her stable in form she’s likely to be fit too. My main concern with her is that 1200m could be a bit sharp for her now.
#5 LETSDOIT (14-1) was a convincing winner the last time he tried this CD. That was from a good draw of 2 that day though, but he could cause the upset.
#9 TWICE THE STORM (3-1) has relocated from the Peter stable and as far as I know not a single runner that has done this has won first time out for the new stable. He’s shown good improvement in blinkers, but that 10 draw is a killer and I’M AGAINST HIM.
