#7 VANDERBILT (7-2) had his first run for his new stable last time after leaving the Peter stable. He had a big weight there and wasn’t ridden with the same strong-galloping style that he thrives off. He’s likely to be ridden a lot more positively today and with his strong rider aboard and I can forsee him skipping clear of his field and them failing to run him down again. In terms of ratings he actually ran his best race to date last time and he’s the one to beat.
