I don’t have a particular fancy here, but I am leaning towards the bottom weights. I make all of #’s 4,5 and 6 big runners and I’m looking to oppose the class fillies with the heavy weights.
#2 RAIN IN HOLLAND (15-10) is a Triple Tiara winner and clearly a class act. She gets the burden of 62 kgs for that though. She’s won 2/4 starts over this trip, so I can’t say she’s incapable of winning over it, but one has to think she’ll be short of her best after 6 months off the track and that this trip will likely catch her out. I’m not in the habit of looking to oppose good horses, but I am looking to beat her out of the bipot on this occasion. I’M AGAINST HER.
SELECTION: Nil, but trying to beat 1 and 2 in tote bets and I’ll be leaning towards 4,5 and 6.
